Our client, a prominent organization in the financial sector, is seeking a Senior Specialist / Specialist I (Cloud Platform) to support and maintain their cloud platform infrastructure. This role involves providing technical support, developing automation scripts, and ensuring optimal use of cloud services.
Responsibilities:
Support the maintenance of technological components related to the cloud management platform, including vPC, security group, and other overlay infrastructure.
Provide support for network and computer platforms, including network routers, switches, SDWAN, firewalls, load balancers, Linux and Windows OS, and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Generate scripts and templates for the automated provisioning of system resources.
Support directory systems such as Active Directory and ADFS, Single Sign-on (SSO) user profile setup, and related SSO technologies such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM 2.0.
Explore new cloud service offerings and implement processes and standards to optimize the use of cloud services.
Provide support for CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible and Terraform), and maintain relevant automation playbooks.
Stay informed of system failures and provide level 2 support for cloud-related infrastructure.
Support new project deployment and develop related SysOps matters, collaborating with application development teams to onboard application systems to the cloud platform.
Provide on-call support for emergency production incidents and on-site support for urgent issues, performing shift duties as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
University degree in information technology, computer science, or related disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in major financial institutions, for Senior Specialist; minimum of 3 years for Specialist I.
Hands-on technical experience with network routers, switches, SDWAN, firewalls, load balancers, and security products.
Experience with system infrastructure (e.g., systems, storage, and computing), cloud technologies, DevOps automation tools, and scripting tools related to Ansible Tower, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, JSON are preferred.
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current technology trends is preferred.
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) to collaborate with application teams, operation teams, and vendors for daily support and project implementation activities.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
