Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Treasury Products Officer / Assistant Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing sales strategies for financial and treasury products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving intermediate business revenue.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Relationship Managers to market financial and treasury products to clients, effectively increasing intermediate business revenue.
Execute client transactions for treasury products, ensuring seamless and efficient trade execution.
Develop a deep understanding of corporate and institutional clients, providing professional trading advice and tailored solutions.
Ensure clients have a clear understanding of the risks, characteristics, and transaction processes associated with our trading products.
Coordinate the signing and explanation of various transaction documents, such as ISDA master agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
Assist in formulating and implementing regulations, policies, and procedures related to the sales of financial and treasury products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate closely with internal departments, including finance, risk management, and operations, to facilitate smooth transaction processes and resolve any operational issues.
Contribute to the development of new products and services that meet evolving customer needs, working closely with relevant departments to address any regulatory or approval-related challenges.
Provide training and market information to frontline Relationship Managers, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively promote our treasury products.
Actively participate in funding system upgrade projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimizing operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Basic knowledge of treasury products, including but not limited to foreign exchange, interest rates, and fixed income.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and a strong awareness of the latest developments in the financial industry, particularly in Hong Kong.
Proficiency in sales procedures for treasury products and experience in executing client transactions.
Registered and authorized to engage in regulated activities by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective interpersonal relationships.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
