Responsibilities:
Execute equity trades across various markets, ensuring timely and accurate order placement.
Monitor market trends, news, and economic factors to make informed trading decisions.
Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of companies and industries to identify investment opportunities.
Collaborate with research analysts and portfolio managers to assess risk and return parameters.
Manage trade reconciliation, settlements, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor portfolio positions and performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain desired risk and return profiles.
Stay updated with market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting equity trading.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
Min 5 years experience as an Equity Trader in financial institutions or investment firms.
Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments.
Proficiency in trading platforms and order management systems.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to make quick decisions under pressure and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
A track record of successful trading performance and portfolio management.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing equity trading activities.
Fluency in English and Cantonese is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
