Our client is an established banking group currently seeking experienced Relationship Managers with a focus on China and local corporates to join their expanding business.
Responsibilities:
Develop marketing plans and engage potential customers, while also deepening relationships with existing clients.
Generate new business opportunities from existing or new customers/relationships, thereby increasing the bank's total revenue.
Proactively manage and assess credit risks by conducting comprehensive financial analysis, preparing credit proposals, and conducting regular credit reviews in accordance with internal guidelines and policies.
Cross-sell and promote products and services offered by transaction banking, treasury, DCM, and other banking units.
Monitor the overall portfolio and relationships, maximizing revenue and returns across different products and geographical areas.
Perform regulated activities, specifically type 1 and 4 activities specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
Regularly monitor risks such as credit limit excess, credit rating changes, adverse news releases, credit events, and developments relating to counterparties.
Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, credit, internal and external audit requirements, and compliance procedures.
Align the team with the overall strategic direction, create value for all stakeholders, and ensure the achievement of objectives.
Requirements:
University graduate in any discipline, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
5-8 years of experience in credit analysis for corporate banking.
Solid experience in cross-selling cash management, trade/factoring, and treasury products, among others.
Knowledge or experience in equity/debt capital markets, M&A, and other investment banking products is a plus.
Strong credit assessment skills, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English is essential.
Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
